Geoff 'Roytis' Davies was born and raised in Sydney's western suburbs. After leaving school aged 16, he discovered the art of tattooing. Through friends in the industry, he learnt the technique of tattooing. His illustrative style is largely due to his background in tattooing. Roytis took up drawing in his spare time, giving away his illustrations to close friends.
Using A1 sized sheets of cardboard, his illustrations depicted moments in history, wildlife and his favourite subject...Rock 'n' Roll.
His illustrations are best viewed up close. His unique style is due to the detail and effort put into his drawings using fine ink pens. He plans to do more works on environmental issues, wildlife and historical events.
